Shipping and Policies


Shipping in the U.S.
While some of our products are shipped directly from Belle Escape via Fedex Ground, many of them are shipped directly from the manufacturers via various ground or freight carriers. Shipping and delivery days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

For products that we do not stock, estimated shipping times are noted in the product descriptions. Most In-stock products will be shipped within two days of placing an order and should be received within 5 - 7 days. Many of our products, especially the hand-painted furniture and hand-made pillows, are made upon order and can take from four to 10 weeks to ship.

For furniture going to an address in the continental U.S., door front shipping is "Free". This means that your furniture will be delivered in boxes to the front of your home at no additional charge. If you desire White Glove Service, you can choose this option in the drop-down box next to the item you are ordering. Please note that "White Glove" service includes taking an item up one flight of stairs at the most. If there are additional stairs, the delivery company may charge you extra and you will be responsible for those charges. If you have multiple furniture items, please call us for an estimate so that we can get you the most affordable price possible.

Once an order is placed, we will confirm an estimated shipping timeframe with you via email.

Canada
Yes, we do ship to Canada! Please email us at Orders@BelleEscape.com for a quote. Smaller items will ship via Fedex Canada. Furniture items will first go to one of our customs broker at the border. We will arrange for customs clearance, payment of duties and taxes, transport across the border and delivery to your home in Canada. We will give you a firm quote prior to your order. You may also use your own customs broker if desired. We can also arrange White Glove Service in most areas on Canada.

International Shipping
Belle Escape does not directly ship to locations outside of the U.S. and Canada. However, you can order items and arrange international shipping with companies such as DHL and Fedex Freight.

International Credit Cards
U.S. merchant banking services charge a 3% process fee on international credit cards due. This will be passed onto customers using credit cards not issued in the U.S. This covers international exchange processing charges.

Returns
BelleEscape.com will happily offer you a refund on most items if you return those items (exceptions are listed below) in their original condition within 7 days of receipt. Once the original item is returned, you will receive a CREDIT for the amount of the item, excluding shipping costs and a 20% restocking fee.

Please inspect your furniture upon arrival to determine if there are any damages. If you detect any damage, do not accept the delivery and note the damage on the delivery form. If there your item is damaged during delivery, we will replace it as quickly as possible.

In the event of special promotions or discounts, Belle Escape reserves the right to apply additional rules. Those rules will be posted on the relevant promotions pages at the time the offer is valid. Please call a customer care representative if you have any returns-related questions that are associated with these special offers.

Items Which Cannot be Returned:
  • Furniture or decor that is made upon order (noted in product descriptions)
  • Items discounted for final sale
  • Custom order merchandise
  • Clearance items with discounts over 25% off

Please note that shipping is NOT refundable.

Belle Escape will not accept ANY returns or exchanges after 30 days (determined from the date you received the merchandise) for ANY reason.

Items Made Upon Order There are no returns on hand-made pillows or hand-painted furniture as these items are made for you upon order. Because we do not stock these items and they have been ordered especially for you, they can not be canceled or returned.

Damages
Damages are very rare as our items are very well packed. But please inspect your items upon delivery. If an item is damaged, this must be noted on the delivery invoice. Then, contact us immediately. Belle Escape will arrange for the damaged item to be picked up and a new one to be delivered to you as quickly as possible.
